Tasting Notes

Delightful and Yummylicious these cookies are a snap to make. The cookies have a lovely buttery taste to them and the peanut butter adds a special memorable touch to them, but it is not too overpowering. And they are not too sweet, which is an A+ in my books.

This will make 24 cookies, but the number depends how big your cookie dough balls will be and how much you spread them out.

Mine were a bit all over the place. I am not one who bakes a lot and Linda, my wife and co-cook at George’s Kitchen gave me her recipe.

What You Need
1/2 cup butter.
1/2 cup peanut butter.
1/2 cup sugar.
1/2 cup brown sugar.
1 egg.
1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
1 1/4 cups sifted flour.
3/4 teaspoon baking soda.
1/4 teaspoon salt.

Equipment

1 large mixing bowl.

1 hand-held mixer.

Parchment paper.

1 large sheet pan.

Method
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
In a bowl add your butter, peanut butter, your egg, your brown and white sugar, and your vanilla.
Mix well.
Then add your flour, salt and baking soda.
Again, mix well.
Wet your hands.
Then roll the dough into small balls.
Take a cookie sheet and line with parchment paper. If you don’t have parchment paper that’s okay.
Now place the cookie dough balls on the cookie sheet.
Once done, take a fork dipped into flour, and press down on the dough.
Once all done, bake the dough for 10 to 12 minutes.

Presto, you are ready to plate or even better start munching away.
Easy and delish.
