The Queen of rock and roll started her career with Ike Turner’s Kings of Rhythm band in 1957 under the name of Little Ann.

She later changed her name to Tina Turner and in conjunction with Ike Turner the two became one of the most formidable musical duets.

In 1976 they disbanded – after Tina revealed a world of abuse under Ike whom she had married and divorced.

Despite the breakup, Tina’s solo career took off like a rocket – making her one of the biggest musical acts ever.
