Vincent Van Gogh, powerhouse painter, important, influential, stellar artist.
Many of us have seen his paintings, in museums or pictures of them.
But now there is a way of seeing his art in a revolutionary, immersive and anything beyond what you can imagine, way.
And it goes further – Imagine being part of his art.
Well you can.
It happened when we saw the show in Vancouver – IMAGINE VAN GOGH The Immersive exhibition.

The exhibition is divided into two parts.
You walk into a cave-like structure – 25,000 square feet – and the first thing you see are suspended panels from the ceiling telling you about Van Gogh’s life.
Next is the main exhibition- immersed in images of Van Gogh’s masterpieces – on the ceiling, on the floor, in front of you, behind you, to both sides of you – classical music hitting you from all sides.
The images, the music, changing every 20 seconds.
It envelops you, it’s trippy, it’s emotional.
This video capturers the splendour of Van Gogh’s masterpieces, magnified by stirring, dramatic classical music from Bach, Mozart, and others.
The exhibition features 200 Van Gogh paintings held in museums – London’s National Gallery of Art, Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.

It’s an experience of a lifetime, an experience that will stay with you forever.
