Cooking is one of my passions.
Been at it for more than 40 years.
It all started when worked as a reporter at a Vancouver newspaper.
I got come home earlier from work than my wife did.
I was home by 3:30 p.m., she at 5:30 p.m.
What to do to while the time away?
One day I said to myself – I will get supper ready, so we can eat by the time she gets ready.
And that’s how it started.
Gradually I really loved cooking, started taking cooking course, read endless cook books. Enjoyed great meals all over the world – from fine dining, to street food.
Always something new to try, to experiment, to savour and enjoy, great food.
I was hooked – cooking became a passion.
Have worked all over the world – throughout Canada, parts of the U.S., Latin America and Europe – enhanced and amplified my cooking skills by discovering new recipes and food.
Now both of us live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
