Cooking is one of our passions.
Been at it for more than 40 years.
I got started first. Linda started when we were both retired.
It all began when I worked as a reporter at a Vancouver newspaper.
I got come home earlier from work than she did.
I was home by 3:30 p.m., she at 5:30 p.m.
What to do to while the time away?
One day I said to myself – I will get supper ready, so we can eat by the time she gets ready.
And that’s how it started.
Gradually I really loved cooking, started taking cooking course, read endless cook books. Enjoyed great meals all over the world – from fine dining, to street food.
Always something new to try, to experiment, to savour and enjoy, great food.
I was hooked – cooking became a passion.
Linda started cooking when she retired. She loves pasta, soups, any kind of noodle dishes and she basically does all our breakfasts and luncheons – which are inventive and creative. She is a master at taking leftovers, adding some fresh ingredients and presto, we have something delicious.
We both have travelled all over the world – throughout Canada, parts of the U.S., Latin America and Europe – all of which enhanced and amplified our cooking skills by discovering new recipes and food.
We live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
