Cooking is one of our passions.
Been at it for more than 40 years.
I got started first. Linda started when we were both retired.
It all began when I worked as a reporter at a Vancouver newspaper.
I got come home earlier from work than she did.
I was home by 3:30 p.m., she at 5:30 p.m.
What to do to while the time away?
One day I said to myself – I will get supper ready. We can eat by the time she gets ready.
And that’s how it started.
Gradually I really loved cooking, started taking cooking course, read endless cook books. Enjoyed great meals all over the world – from fine dining, to street food.
Always something new to try, to experiment, to savor and enjoy, great food.
I was hooked – cooking became a passion.
Linda started cooking when she retired. She loves pasta, soups, and any kind of noodle dishes. She basically does all our breakfasts and luncheons, which are inventive and creative. She is a master at taking leftovers, adding some fresh ingredients and presto, we have something delicious.
We both have traveled all over the world – throughout Canada, parts of the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. All of these travels enhanced our cooking skills. They amplified our skills by allowing us to discover new recipes and food.
We live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
