Meet Justin Sun.
He is 34 years old and invests in cryptocurrency – a digital currency designed to work through a computer network that does not rely on any central authority, such as a bank or a government to uphold or maintain its value.
Some business entrepreneurs believe cryptocurrency is wave of the world’s financial future with traditional currencies becoming obsolete.
Sun obviously loves banana’s.
He shocked the art world when he ponied up $6.2 million (U.S.) for a banana, some duct tape, and an art frame, at an auction of the world-famous auction house Sotheby’s.
The installation, titled ‘Comedian’ and created by the Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, sold at the Sotheby’s auction in New York after six minutes of intensive bidding with collectors all over the world clamouring for it.
Cattelan is primarily known for his hyperrealistic sculptures and installations. Often he takes a satirical approach with his art, resulting in him being called a joker or prankster.

In 2019 he created an edition of three – fresh bananas affixed to a wall with duct tape – calling them Comedian. Two sold, each for $120,000, the third one was donated to one of the top museums in the world, the Guggenheim in New York.
The second edition was the one Sun bought.
After the purchase Sun said he would give it to Elon Musk if he affixed it to one of his spaceships.

So far no word what Sun has done.
