Don Yeomans’ Master Touch The Gold Standard of Northwest Coast Artist

Don Yeomans is one of the most highly respected artists on the Northwest Coast of British Columbia.

His unique blend of traditional and modern elements, attention to detail, and commitment to storytelling make his artwork truly special and significant. 

He was born 1958 in Prince Rupert, B.C. of a Masset Haida father and a Metis mother from Slave Lake, Alberta.

His art – incorporates Haida traditions, finds inspiration from his Métis roots, and incorporates modern materials and techniques, such as metalwork, glass, and wood carving.

This fusion creates a distinctive style that honours his cultural heritage while pushing the boundaries of contemporary art.

He works in four different mediums.
