Restaurants and bars are serving tinned fish as appetizers and home cooks are turning tinned fish into whole dinners.

In some respects tinned fish always has been around, especially in Europe, where tinned sardines, herring, mussels, etc., are part of a regular meal rotation.

And the tinned fish is delicious- supplemented with a variety of different sauces such paprika, mustard, fine olive oil.
