Daring, innovative – Nemo’s Garden – all underwater, an attempt to come up with viable new methods to grow vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs.

Nemo’s Garden is the world’s first underwater cultivation system of terrestrial plants. Located off the coast of Noli, Italy, southwest of Genoa, the farm consists of an array of suspended, transparent, dome-shaped greenhouses called biospheres, anchored to the bottom of the sea.

The project – a realization that global issues, climate change, pollution, hunger, drought, dramatic, drastic, new weather pattern, require new methods, new approaches, in producing plant-based foods.
