Tasting Notes
The bread has a nice earthy taste to it and on its edges it has a bit of a crust and the inside is nice and chewy.
The bread is versatile – use it for making a pizza, add anything yogurt like it, you can it like a taco. The possibilities are endless.

What You Need
1 cup of whole wheat flour. If you don’t have “wheat”, regular flour will work.
1 tablespoon vegetable oil, plus a smidgen extra for cooking the flatbread.
¼ teaspoon salt.
1/3 cup water.
Equipment
1 medium bowl.
1 towel.
1 frying pan.
1 rolling pin.
1 spatula.
1 measuring cup.
Method
In a medium bowl mix your flour and salt.
Then add the oil and water.
Mix till all the ingredients well, until you can form them into a large ball.
Cover with a towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Now divide the dough into four pieces.
Take each piece, and using a rolling pin, and roll into a thin sheet, so thin that you can almost see through it.
Take a cast iron frying pan or any heavy duty frying pan and heat it up on medium heat.
Then add the oil and then put one sheet of the dough into the pan.
Now watch the dough carefully and gradually you will see certain parts of the dough puff up.
Now take a spatula and check the underside of the dough, if it brown and a bit charred, turn it over.
Repeat.
Your bread is ready.
